Maitland Social Table Tennis Club welcomes players from Kurri Kurri and the surrounding Hunter towns to come and join our social sessions. We play at Pat Hughes Community Hall in Thornton. It is a drive from Kurri Kurri, but for those who want a regular, friendly game in a relaxed club setting, our players say it is well worth the trip.

What to expect when you come along

We are a social, volunteer-run club, and that shows in the atmosphere. Sessions are low-key, friendly, and open to everyone regardless of experience. You will find people playing for fun, not points.

Bats and balls are provided, so you can turn up empty-handed for your first visit. If you have your own bat you are welcome to bring it.

  • No booking required, just turn up
  • Friendly regulars happy to give a newcomer a game
