What it costs to play table tennis in Maitland
Maitland Social Table Tennis Club keeps its table tennis Maitland cost as low and simple as possible. You pay $5 per session on the day, plus a one-off annual membership, and that covers everything. No contracts, no joining fee, no hidden extras.
What you pay
The cost breaks down into two parts. First, there is a $27 annual Table Tennis NSW membership. This is a state-level membership that covers all affiliated clubs and only needs to be paid once a year.
On top of that, each session costs $5, paid on the day. You only pay for the sessions you come to, so if you miss a week or two it does not cost you anything.

What is included
Bats and balls are provided at every session, so you do not need to buy any equipment before you start. If you decide you enjoy it and want your own bat, that is entirely up to you, but it is never required.
The sessions at Pat Hughes Community Hall in Thornton run for two hours each, so you get a solid hit for your $5. Most people play multiple games across the session.

Can I try it before I commit?
Absolutely. Come along to a session, have a hit, and see how you find it. If you decide it is for you, you can sort out the annual Table Tennis NSW membership then. There is no pressure to sign up on your first day.

You are welcome to come and try a session first. The $27 annual Table Tennis NSW membership is needed to keep playing, but there is no pressure to sort it out before you have had a go.
Is there a family rate or concession?

What if I only come once or twice a month?
That works perfectly with our pay-as-you-go model. You pay $5 each time you come and nothing when you do not. Outside of the annual membership there are no regular fees.
