Table tennis in the Lower Hunter, at our Maitland area club

Maitland sits at the heart of the Lower Hunter, and that is where you will find Maitland Social Table Tennis Club. We run friendly, volunteer-run social sessions at Pat Hughes Community Hall in Thornton. If you are anywhere in the Lower Hunter and looking for a relaxed place to play table tennis, you are very welcome to come along.

A community table tennis club for the Lower Hunter

The Lower Hunter has a strong community sporting culture, and our club tries to reflect that. We are not a high-performance setup. We are a place where people of all backgrounds and fitness levels can enjoy a game of table tennis in a welcoming environment.

We get players who have been at it for decades alongside people picking up a bat for the first time. Both are equally at home here.

  • All ages and ability levels welcome
  • Community atmosphere, volunteer run
  • Bats and balls provided at every session
  • Pay as you go, no lock-in
